Start date: 1 October 2026

More than a language course
The goal of the course is to help you start your studies with greater confidence and the language skills you will actually need at university.
Throughout 540 hours of classes, you will systematically develop your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, while also learning how to use the language in situations you will encounter during your studies.
You will learn how to understand lectures, prepare presentations and projects, communicate with lecturers, work in an international environment and use academic and specialised vocabulary.
You are not learning a language just to pass an exam. You are learning it so you can study in it.

PL Preparatory Course for Studies in Polish
This course is designed for international students who plan to study in Poland in Polish and want to prepare for their degree both linguistically and academically.
But learning Polish can give you much more than access to university.
Knowing the language makes everyday life in Poland easier, helps you build relationships and communicate independently, and can later give you more opportunities to find internships, gain professional experience and build your career on the Polish job market.
During the course, you will prepare for:
- communicating in everyday and academic situations,
- understanding lectures delivered in Polish,
- reading academic texts and study materials,
- writing different types of academic texts,
- giving presentations and participating in discussions,
- communicating with lecturers and other students,
- using academic and specialised vocabulary,
- functioning confidently in the Polish social and cultural environment.
It is also a great first step for anyone who is considering building their future in Poland.
GB Preparatory Course for Studies in English
Planning to study entirely in English?
Being able to communicate in everyday English is not always the same as being ready to follow university lectures, prepare academic projects, take exams or deliver presentations.
That is why the programme also focuses on Academic English and the practical use of English in a university environment.
You will prepare for:
- understanding lectures delivered in English,
- actively participating in classes,
- working in international teams,
- giving presentations,
- preparing projects and written assignments,
- reading academic materials,
- communicating with lecturers,
- using specialised vocabulary related to your future field of study.
Academic English is also a valuable skill that you can later use in an international professional environment.
What will you learn?
The programme focuses primarily on intensive language learning, complemented by academic and practical preparation.

You will develop the four key language skills:
- speaking

Academic Skills
Learn how to navigate the university environment and study more effectively.
The course introduces topics such as study organisation, project work, presentations, exams, academic communication and the principles of independent academic work.
Intercultural Communication
Studying abroad means meeting and working with people from different countries, backgrounds and cultures.
The course will help you better understand cultural differences, communicate effectively and feel more confident in an international environment.
Living and Studying in Poland
For participants in the Polish-language course, an important part of the programme will also be practical preparation for everyday life in Poland.
Language learning will be connected with situations you may encounter in daily life, during your studies and later in your professional career.
Your goal: B2
The course prepares participants to develop the language competence required to study in their chosen language.
The programme ends with an examination assessing language proficiency at B2 level.
The examination verifies the key language skills developed throughout the course.
Completing the programme is therefore not simply the end of your language course — it is the next step towards starting your university studies.
