LIBRARY
The scientific and didactic collection of the University Library includes 14,000 volumes and 130 journal titles.
Access to the computer catalog in the PATRON 4 System and management of the library account is possible both via the local network and on-line. If you want to use it go to the On-line Catalogue
In the field of completing collections, the Library is guided by contemporary trends and cooperates in this area with scientific and didactic staff as well as numerous scientific institutions and representatives of the tourist economy. The basic scientific and didactic collection is collected in accordance with the education profile of the University.
The University Library offers students and employees of the University access to publications on the platform
IBUK – LIBRA (www.libra.ibuk.pl), which contains electronic versions of academic textbooks and scientific books from various fields of science, published by the most important Polish publishers, m.in: Wydawnictwo Naukowe PWN.

In order to use the resources of IBUK-LIBRA, please contact the Library by e-mail (biblioteka@wstih.pl) to receive a PIN code, and then create a personal myIBUK account / log in and enter the received PIN code.

The library allows you to borrow books in a special procedure, with precautions:
The student sends by e-mail to the following address: biblioteka@wstih.pl. an order for selected titles, which includes:
- student’s surname and first name, album number, year of study,
- the number of the reference number of the ordered item of literature (see: on-line catalogue http://biblioteka.wstih.pl/Opac4/),
- author and title of the ordered item of literature.A library employee completes the order and notifies the reader by e-mail about the possibility of receiving books on a specific day.
The student (wearing his own mask and gloves) picks up the ordered books from the library. Collection of ordered books takes place as far as possible on the next working day of the library’s operation.
Books returned to the library are subject to a 3-day quarantine and can be re-borrowed only after 3 days counted from the day following the day of returning the books to the library.
